Depressed and fat! PLEASE help me!?

Im 6 ft 2 approaching 6 ft 3 and I weigh 16 stone 5, my aim is to lose weight and tone up before my holiday >.< (in 6 months time) i want to lose around 2 stone, my diet at the moment consists of a small bowl of oatmeal in the morning, 3 hours later i eat a small portion of pasta and tuna or chicken, and do that for every 3 hours up until around 6-7 at night ( that includes fruit in every portion, banana mainly. i attend the gym 6 days a week, on the wednesday i do a little less then normal. Should i continue with this, could you give me any tips? :) PS I do NOT want to take any diet pills or suppliments.



Losing weight and toning muscle?

I weight about 155lbs and am about 5'9" and I am an extremely active 18 year old. I work out about 2 hours a day and I eat relatively healthy. I don't want to lose a ton of weight, I just want to get rid of a few stubborn pounds that I cannot get rid of. I am thinking strongly of trying diet pills (for a short time!! I know they aren't that great for you but I am desperate!) but I can't make up my mind between phenphedrine or apidexin... someone help please?



How can I lose 20lbs in 2 months?

so this saturday i started with greyish brown discharge...it is now monday and i still have it.saturday morning i was supposed to take day 7 of my birth control but i accidentally took day 21. i take my pill at 6:30 then go back to sleep so i didn't notice. I woke up at 9 with bad cramps (like the ones i get a day before my period) but went back to sleep then at 10 i couldn't take them anymore and took 3 ibuprofen (doc said i could take 3) but then when i was taking my other medication i noticed i had taken the wrong one and so i didn't know what to do so i took the day 7 one too. so i dont know if it is from thati later that day i had unprotected sex, but i CANNOT have an STD because me and my boyfriend have been dating since we have been 14 and we r now 18. He is very clean and it wasnt much different that usual.also my diet this weekend has been HORRIBLE! on saturday i ate crapp all day then for dinner i had fries and a milk shake at the mall food court, which followed with horrible stomach cramps (i assume they were from the 2 birth control pills or the fries and ice cream) then on sunday i was at a friends house watching the Superbowl and had beer and chili. this isnt my usual diet...i dont eat much, i usually just eat breakfast and dinner. i dont drink much either.could this be from messing up my birth control, unprotected sex, my horrible diet and drinking this weekend or something completely different?p.s. i am not supposed to get my period for a few weeks ik that because im on birth controlthanks for the help...and dont worry i will choose a best answer =)also should i use a backup method of birth control because my hormones are "out of wack"??



Funky Discharge. From Sex, Birth Control or Diet/Drinking?

I have been a gym member for a year now. When I first joined in May I lost 5 lbs a month (but I ate nothing but chicken breast and salad and stuck to 1200 to 1300 calories). 15 lbs later I'm trying to lose my final 10-20 lbs and I can't seem to get motivated and avoid binging on treats. I ate chicken breast and salads for 3 months and I just can't force myself to eat that anymore so I've been making different meals and sticking to a 1500 calorie diet. And at 1500 calories (for 2 months) I never lost a pound. I also find that I eat little or no veggies during meals just because I can't fit them into my 1500 calorie diet without still being starving after. I limit my fast food to only once or twice a month.My mom is a saboteur when it comes to my diet. I told her early December no candy in my stocking (I'm 27) and my stocking was FULL of candy and she made about 8 batches of cookies for her, my dad and my brother and I. Ever since then I have no will power or self control when it comes to chips and sweets. I can't find anything that fits into my diet that will give me the sweet/saltiness I crave and binge on.When it comes to the gym I find I'm too busy to work out after work because there's always something that needs to be done (chores, groceries, life stuff) and after I get home and eat supper I can't stop snacking for 2 hours in order to work out later in the night. I could work out everyday in the morning but I don't have time to shower between the gym and going to work and I don't want to be sweaty every time I go to work. I tried to do 4 days of cardio on the elliptical after work and 2 hours of gym classes on Sundays and never saw results.I'm at the point where I'm almost desperate. I was told to take Bromelain as a carb blocker (I can never remember to take it 30 minutes before I eat) and CLA to burn fat (I thought I saw results in the first 2 weeks but then my scale says my weight just exploded after that) and then I read that CLA is an omega 6 and too much omega 6 and not enough omega 3 keeps your body from burning fat so I'm incorporating fish oil pills twice a day to hopefully balance out the CLA I take. And since I'm having so much trouble doing it myself I'm finding myself looking to all the pills that are out there. I really need some help!!Thanks in advance!

Everyday, the meals that I eat are random and not a set diet. I eat whatever and whenever I like. I don't eat breakfast, unless I know that I need to. I think ethnicity has something to do with my eating habit. A Hmong girl who eats rice most of the time, but not always.I started to feel my stomach area getting bloated on Saturday night after eating a plate of rice, two barbecue drumstick, a small bowl of warm Tapioca soup with 2-3 cups of Mtn. Dew. That was my brunch. During dinner time, all I consume was a medium size cup of Hawaiian Punch from Carl's Junior. On Sunday night that was when I started to feel my stomach area bloated and feeling a bit twisted. Monday night was the same as Sunday. I think I took a pill of Aspirin (5pm) and ate a slice of pizza at 10pm. I am not a medicine person and so on Tuesday, I ate three Tum chewable tablets and it did helped relieve the pain for the day, but still, my stomach area was not comfortable. After taking the Tums on Tuesday night, I started to feel sick with a dry throat and somewhere in my nasal cavity in the morning of Wednesday. So I chewed on three Tums in the morning (7 a.m) and later in the afternoon, I ate two pills of Tylenol pain reliever (2pm). It was for me not to get any sicker and a bit for my stomach area pain. Wednesday (2011/02/02) was also my Dad's birthday and so I ate a bowl of salad and a few buffalo wings. My stomach began hurting and churning. Later that night, I drank Alka-Seltzer (4oz of water). On Thursday, my stomach or upper organs was hurting but I couldn't do anything besides just chewing on TUMs. I don't remember what I had during brunch, but that night I was so hungry, I ate a slice of pizza. Even later in the night, I wished I hadn't ate that slice of pizza. On Friday, I didn't even want to go to my college classes. I got home and ate rice and some hot-wings in the later afternoon (1pm). My next meal was at 12a.m (Panda Express). Throughout the night I couldn't stand with the pain.Throughout the week I can hardly not feel any pain when I sit and stand. Every night, I had to curl up on bed to go to sleep. Usual nights I would have my laptop in front of me but this past week, that didn't happen. You can say it is because of my poor sleeping habit, plus eating habit, and plus unnecessary stress. I don't know what I am feeling and what it is. I haven't gone to a clinic or a doctor for a check-up. I looked online for any additional information of what I might have, but I am still blank of what I might have. My older sister said it could be tape worm, acid building up, or worst case, ulcer. I am 21 years old and turning 22. I thought I was 130lbs but I think I am actually 140lbs. After a week, my current weight is 138lbs. Either I gained or lost some lbs. Interesting though, is that my stomach area (intestines) expanded and I looked pregnant. I don't know if it is my abdomen, stomach (organ), gallbladder, or my liver that is aching. It could probably be my large intestines. I don't know. I am not sexually active and plus I have a very irregular menstrual cycle. My height is 5'2-3".Please help!



My stomach has been hurting for a week now? What do I have?

Do you lose the weight gained when taking Primolut-nor?I have secondary amenorrhea and so my doctor took some blood samples and prescribed me with primolut-nor.I am supposed to take 2 pills a day for 10days. I have noticed that I have been needing to go to the bathroom more frequently than normal and also it seems that I am peeing more than I drink! Ever since I started taking this pill, I realized that I have gained 2kg in a week! I haven't been eating that much more than what I would normally do that will cause me to gain 2kg in such a short period. I exercise for at least 4 hours a week. At first I thought it was due to fluid retention but since I am getting rid of the fluids often, it can't be can it? I was wondering if the weight will come off after I am done with the 10 days or will I have to go on a diet to lose the weight that I have gained?p.s. it says on the information paper in the packet that weight gain may be one of the side effects

My diet is mostly home cooked meals with an occasional restaurant meal. My diet is mostly...For Breakfast I either have 2 Eggs mixed with milk (Toast) or more often I have Pancakes (With Syrup)I don't eat lunch because School lunch is all "fake" and VERY unhealthy (not to mention utterly gross)I mean the pizza is made of a fake sauce, fake cheese, and fake dough and contains on average 2750 calories, based on their "health chart" (I agree, "What???")But if I don't have school my lunch would most likely be a sandwich (Ham, Salami, Turkey) or grilled cheese.For dinner I usually have Rice and Beans (Puerto Rican styled!) with Pork chops, Steak, or ChickenSometimes I have various pasta, usually with red sauce and meat (I eat a lot of meat by the way)Mashed Potatoes (Again usually with meat)If we ever have fresh fruit or vegetables I try to eat them as munchies/desserts but that's a "rare" occasion (my parents don't often buy fruits/veggies and I don't usually have the money too either)I also take a One a Day Mens vitamin pill. I rarely eat junk food, or at least its a rarity compared to how others eat it... My drinks are usually Water, Orange Juice, Minutemaid Juices, and once awhile Dr. Pepper.Is this diet healthy enough (doubt it) or do I need changing up? Where do I need to add? What is a healthy eating diet? Is my diet "Healthy enough"?

I love healthy foods, and as long as I eat truly healthy foods (none of the packaged junk that's labeled as "healthy" but has more crap in it than junk food), I can eat whatever I want, feel better, and my weight levels out at a healthy number. No, I don't get down to 95, but that's not healthy...why would I want to? Because the model on the latest edition of Cosmo does?In contrast, I tried the dieting crap all throughout high school, and it doesn't work. It teaches you that a low number on the scale rather than health in general is the end goal, so you think "I know! I'll eat nothing but 2 salads a day for a week!" and then you get all excited because you lost 7 lbs (in water weight) that week and spend the next week binging on all the junk you couldn't have that past week. Then you go buy some diet program or pill because Seventeen told you it was the miracle cure. That doesn't work, so you think "Oh well. Guess my body just wasn't designed to work with that program. Surely this next one I just bought will do the trick." Then you decide to just cut carbs out of your diet, lose 10 lbs in one week but also almost lose your consciousness one day when your blood sugar dips too low.Is anyone else sick of media images telling you that in order to be desirable you have to be tall but not too tall, 90 lbs, white, blond, sexy but not too forward lest you intimidate guys, hate food, and pretty much despise your body and spend 10 hours a day trying to "fix" it with nail polishes, makeups, tweezers, razors, and tummy tuck pantyhose? The way I see it these days, God gave me my body without all of that, and who am I to tell God that his creation is ugly?



Do any other women find that remaining healthy is much easier when you abandon the emphasis on dieting?

i'm a size 24 and i want to get to a size 4 in 5-6 monthsreal talk i don't like doing it the healthy way takes to long and my body is not built to eat allotcan i lose allot of weight doing cardio 2 times a week 20 minsab work outs 1 time per week 15 minsand arm and but workout 2 times a week 20 minsi will up the work outs to longer time frame in 1 month up to 30-40 mins eachthose smaller times are just to start me offand stay on a 500-800 calorie a day diet?drinking 10-15 glasses water everyday and water and lemon with Cayenne pepper twice a daytake vitamins.....vitamin e,c, and prenatal for extra vitamin dosage with quick trim by Kim kardashianand take acai berry cleansing pills too?so is it possible to get to that size in that time frame?i really would like to do this in 3-4 monthsi will be exercising so my skin wont hangi'm 18 not 40vitamins should keep my body working and the cayenne pepper to to boost my metabolismand no i'm not getting surgery
