HCG Drops The New Diet Aid

Let's face it, there are hundreds of diets out there. They all promise weight loss. Some deliver, some do not. Technically they all can, it really just depends on you and your commitment. One diet that is getting attention is the HCG Drops diet.

With all diets its about adjusting what you eat. You could eat grapefruit all day, or something else. Some are pretty wacky. Some are sound science. If you eat the correct amount of calories, and exercise a bit, you will lose weight. How fast and how much is up to you.

A HCG diet works slightly different. With other diets, its about controlling food, and trying to exercise. They claim there is a secret ingredient to the grapefruit, or the cookie they sell you. What if there really was something that would trigger your body to shed weight? Something that your body already does, but with extra help triggers more weight loss.

HCG or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is a naturally occurring substance found in all of our bodies. As we age, we put out less and less of this substance. While we are young, this substance results in our growth cycle, and aids in recovery from stress. European doctors have found that while under a restrictive diet, it will also help trick the body into releasing stored fat instead of allowing it to go into a severe conservation cycle.

One of the problems with many diets is that when the body feels it is undernourished, or under too much stress, it protects itself. It hangs onto every bit of fat, everything you eat it is trying to make the most of. This makes you plateau, or not lose any weight. The idea with any of them, is to eat just enough that the body doesn't go into this mode. But you have to burn extra calories to assist in loss. It ends up being a counterproductive cycle.

This specific diet is different in that it is very aggressive. The restrictive calories alone would put you in conservation mode. But adding the drops, it helps keep from that. You eat around 500 calories a day, but its for a very short period. What you eat is restrictive also. Soda, sugars, chemicals are all pushed away. Anything that messes with your body and tricks it prevents weight loss. So even aspertame is a no. You will eat lean proteins. No processed foods, and low on carbs.

Adding HCG to this mix helps the body combat the issues of the diet. You wont go into conservation mode, you will also stave off hunger. It boosts the release of that excess fat your body clings to but doesn't need. For some that is half a pound a day, others up to 2 pounds a day. You will use the diet and the drops in short cycles of slightly less than a month. Then a short break, and then on it again. You wouldn't go for more than 2-3 months before a longer break.

Not every diet will work for you, as we all have witnessed. With everyone being slightly different, their will power, reaction, and habits all are major factors in success. The HCG Drops diet will help many people. You do have to commit to making the most of it. When you see the scale and the success, its a bit easier to do.
