As we all know, color is often associated as the expression of a feeling or a situation. This is in fact does not only applicable for the adults, but also for children. Further, colors can help stimulate baby born to learn to communicate. Colors are proven to be able to influence the psychological development of a child. This is also the way that the psychotherapist or psychologist often use to see how a child feels. They ask the kids to draw with their preferred color to see how their emotion is.

Colors can stimulate the children, especially those that are deficit of attention. With colors, they learn to express themselves. This is also highly recommended to let kids choose their own favorite paint for their bedroom or their favorite color for their dress to raise their self esteem and confidence.

In a research conducted by California State University Fullerton, kids between 5-6 years old were asked to choose their favorite colors randomly. The result showed that those kids which were happy chose the bright colors such as pink, blue, and red. In the contrary, there are those kids that were upset and expressed it in the color they chose like grey and brown.
