How can I overcome my chronic asthma?
Hey everyone, Im doing some research for my psychology class about body image and I have a survey that would help gain some personal insight, please take a few minutes and help me out. Thanks!1.Age2. How does body image impact you?
I'm 14 years old and go to a pediatrician. He's always telling me that I'm fat and I need to lose weight and pretty much makes me feel so low. I've tried every diet you can think of to lose weight, but it won't work. I exercise every day, but that won't work either. My doctor won't give me diet pills. If he's so concerned about my weight, why won't he give me diet pills? It gets on my nerves and I hate going to school and dressing down for gym class because he makes me feel so self-conscious. I feel like dying and I feel like a giant, obese hippo compared to everybody else. Everybody swears up and down that I'm not fat, but I still want to lose weight. Can somebody give me some advice, please???

Please only answer if you have taken it.How did you like it?How did it make you feel?Did you lose any wieght on it? I have been taking it for a few days now, it has dramatically decreased my appetite and I have energy throughout the entire day and I am only taking 2 pills in the morning right before I eat! I just want to compare to the results of anyone else who has takin it before.ALSO, I don't want your opinion if you are going to tell me how bad diet pills are for you and so on, I know the risks and it's not going to change my mind.

im only in middle school and my butt is 2 big compared to my upper body. when i was small i had high metabolism and suddenly since the beginning of this year my butt's been drastically getting big. its SO embarrassing and i need it to get to normal size. i mean it would be fine if my whole body was chubby but my upper body is skinny and then i get fatter in my lower body. please if anyone knows how to make the lower body skinnier id rly appreciate it if you'd tell me. I NEED HELP FAST. thanks (P.S and i dont use diet pills or anything like that, but maybe something like a diet of veggies or whatever and a certain exercise)

One of my female friends has had serious image problems since I've known her(about 4 years). Not until we've gotten really close have I realized how serious it is. She admitted that she purges and eats almost nothing. She says she's fat and is always wanting to lose weight even though she only weights about 120 lbs. Being 5 foot 7, that seems pretty normal. Today she was asking me about the side effects of diet pills and I'm really not sure what more I can do for her. I've told her over and over that there's nothing wrong with her and how dangerous these habits are. She's always saying "if I lose weights, then I'll be happy" and she's always comparing herself to other girls. I always tell her that 1 event will never make her fully happy and that losing weight isn't the answer. She has a horrible relationship with both her mother and father and it seems like some of this may stem from that. She means a lot to me and I want to help her but I'm not sure if there's much more I can do. What can I do?
Serious Mental/Physical health question.?
I'm 16,I'm 5'2 and I weigh between 98-105 and I have had a serious eating disorder in the past(bulimia),I think that I'm fat,I have bad body images in the mirror..I don't believe that It when people tell me that I am not fat....i just at 2 pinapple slices and that's all I have had the whole day,ans I think I ate too much(I know that sounds nuts but truth),everytime I eat I eat smaller and smaller portions...and now I am only eating 60 calories or under a day..I feel horrible when I eat like a normal person...I freak out if I gain a pound..the weight controls my day...my goal is 80lbs right now....I compare my size to other peoples size..if I ever eat,I go to my room and eat alone..I hate ordering food,or picking it up at a grocery store...I read thinspiration constantly..and I read about eating disorders....I think about food all the time....I push my stomach in when my stomach growls so that the hunger pains&growling will go away..or I'll sometimes gag myself...so that those pains will go away...I hate getting snap shots of myself cuz I'm fat....I am trying to get a hold of some good working diet pills..I have bad sleeping habits&i have headaches and get dizzy a whole lot...when I starve myself I have nightmares that I'm eating sooo much and wake up and feel like the nightmare was real..I like others approval I care what people think..... This has all been going on for 2 years now...ever since my mom got diagnosed with a brain tumor&my grandmaw died...this is not for attention or a joke..please just don't be rude and tell me what I have!

Hello,I'm a 15, soon to be 16 year old boy who is suffering from acne. It's strange because I had acne for about a year, and then in March of this past year it just completely stopped until about late May where I started getting acne getting! Now, I tend to have about 1 or 2 'big' breakouts per week, andthe other days I don't really get any, but I spend those days trying to 'heal' my acne.This is what I do to try and heal it.- Cleanse face at least twice per day with Acne.org Cleanser.- (Exfloiate once a week with eminence exfloaiter)- After cleansing I'll usually wait about 5 minutes, and then apply Acne.org Benzolyn Peroxide(2.5%)gently.- After waiting about 15 minutes for that to dry, I finally apply a moisturizer sometimes I use Cetaphil oor Mary Kay moiturizer.- I also apply an Aloe Vera Moisturizer once every day or so.- I give my self a 'Honey and Milk' facial about twice a week.Rub both of them gently on my face and leave on for 20-30 minutes, then rinse out.- I shower everyday, sometimes twice a day if needed.- I workout twice a week at least.My Diet: I acutally don't eat much, and I eat anything that's really avaliable, usually lots of ice cream aas well. I attempt to drink at least 3 bottles of water per day.So recently this summer my acnes starting to get a little worse, not sure why. I am in my room a lot, and it's a very hot room compared to the other parts of the house in the summer, so i'm not sure if thats causing the addition of acne.I change bedsheets at least once every 10 days.Now can anyone tell me anything I'm doing wrong or what I should add/ try. Im thinking about buying ssome pills? Like Vit. C or whatever pill is good for skin, and maybe oxy pads cause they kind of worked before. So any ideas guys? How to get my face as acne-free as possible by School?
I'm 22 years old, 5' 9" and weigh 195 lbs. Before I would typically to wake up kinda late (~ noon) and not eat until I got hungry. Then I'd eat one big meal and not much more the rest of the day. So for starters, the past couple of weeks I've been eating smaller portions about 3 - 4 hours apart and drink only water and milk, as opposed to a lot of soda before. For working out, I just started yesterday so can't really attest to any results yet. What I did was get up, stretch my arms, do push ups and dips, warm up a bit and stretch my legs, then I speed walked (warm up to 3.2 - 3.4 mph and maintain it) on a treadmill for about 50 minutes, distance of 2.5 miles, at an incline of 5 (units?). Cool down a bit, then stretch again. That may not seem like much, but compared to my largely sedentary lifestyle, I feel this is an appropriate beginning.Now, I know running, or at least jogging, would probably be better. In fact, my goal is to improve my cardio system because when I do run, I get tired easily and cannot mainain a decent pace for very long (500 meter in 1 min. 58 sec., after which I was exhausted). But for now, I really would like to lose weight. The push ups and such are just to get some improved muscular activity in my upper body, but that also is not the main goal at this time; also, I plan to add pull ups and sit ups to my routine, which I hope to do Mon., Wed., and Fri. mornings.After all that, I guess what I want are tips that may help me lose the weight. I don't want to completely change up this routine, as it is convenient for me. But adding some excercises aren't out of the question either. I'm also not looking to get a bunch of supplements or diet/weight loss pills, but I wouldn't be opposed to a protein shake or something similar. Muscles burn fat, so although that isn't my main goal, it may be in my best interest to bulk up a bit. Any advice would be appreciated.
How to modify my workout routine for better results.?
I am 15 years old im 5'7 and I weigh 300 pounds! yes its very depressing because I should be living life and having fun but im not, I really want to lose this weight like I really do! I sometimes think im not that big until im in the girls bathroom at school looking in the mirror comparing myself to a skinny girl, then I feel like a hugh blimp!!!!! I have a great personality but I can't show it because my weight makes me socially awkward, I really want to lose weight because on october the 12th my school is having a dance contest and surprise surprise I want to be in it, but I want to lose as much weight as I can before then without I repeat without any dumb diet pills, any advice will help
